Education—not medical care

PRO-PA Education LLC content is for general education only. It is not personal medical advice and is not a substitute for professional evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, or current clinical guidance. Always use appropriate clinical judgment and consult qualified professionals and authoritative sources.

Do not delay or disregard medical care because of information on this site. For a medical emergency, contact local emergency services.

PANCE and organizational independence

The Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination® (PANCE) is administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). PRO-PA is an independent educational resource and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by NCCPA, the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA), or the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA).

References to PANCE are descriptive and identify the examination for which learners may be preparing. PRO-PA practice items are original study questions—not actual, recalled, or copied examination content. Practice results may help identify possible strengths and study needs, but they do not predict official examination performance. No score or certification outcome is promised. Clinical and laboratory information

Learners should verify information using current authoritative references and follow their program's or clinical site's guidance.
